DIY Girl's Jacket: The Annabelle Jacket

Today I'd like to share with you this cute little jacket I made for a colleague's daughter.

Adorable, right?

This is actually a re-creation of a jacket I made for PiePie last Fall.

The pattern used for this jack is the Peek-a-Boo Pattern Shop Annabelle Jacket. (affiliate link)

This is a well-written, classic pattern that I highly recommend.  Anytime PiePie wears her jacket, she gets compliments and questions about where she got it.

The Annabelle Jacket features pockets, a ruffled neckline, button/snap closure, button tabs and a belt with loops.

The jacket is also fully lined making it reversible as well!  I chose to add a hidden inner lining of flannel to make it extra cozy for the colder Spring and Fall months around here.

I think I like the lining fabric side just as much as the outer fabric side!  What do you think?

  1. Adorable either way. I love that one side is more springy and one more fallish! So smart.

  2. I think that it's gorgeous, particularly with the ruffles. Looks like a brand jacket. She must feels like a princess with it!
